International Summer Course on Tropical Mangrove Ecosystems:
Vegetation and Fish Monitoring

International Summer Course on Tropical Mangrove Ecosystem is the first summer course organized by the Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries, Udayana University. This year, the course picks the theme ‘Vegetation and Fish Monitoring’ to invite both students and other interested participants in the discussion about monitoring technique of mangrove vegetation and fish in mangrove habitat. Participant from all Indonesia areas and international are gladly welcomed to join.

Issues

  • Introduction to tropical mangrove ecosystem, particularly mangrove vegetation in Bali
  • Mangrove vegetation monitoring using hemispherical photography.
  • Fish sampling technique in mangrove habitat,
  • Fish identification technique
